Short but Sweet
As mentioned before, Middle Street on Sullivan's Island is where you'll find most of the cyclists and extends the entire length of the island. With that being said Middle Street only runs roughly 1.5 miles from end-to-end offering the perfect three mile round trip ride. Riding some of the side streets to capture the full island vibe is what we recommend, and most find that seeing the entire island is easier than you would think thanks to the highly favorable riding conditions.
Sullivan's Island Nature Trail
On Station 18 on Sullivan's Island, you'll find the Sullivan’s Island Nature Trail. Particularly accessible only during low tide, this path gives adventurers an option get really up close to the flora and fauna that inhabits the island.. As you pedal along, you’ll also notice views of Fort Moultrie—a historic site that once played a key role in defending the Charleston harbor. The nature trail is a perfect route for those who want to bike through the natural environment and catch a touch of the undisturbed island.
