Kiteschool & Rental Policy

Kite School Policy

It takes a good deal of time and effort to coordinate our Kiteschool lessons and reserve our kite gear for our customers. We do not give outright refunds for any Kiteschool lessons. 

We will however reschedule the date and time of your lesson, free of charge.

If you are physically unable to partake in the lesson, we will issue a voucher for store credit.  

There is no minimum age to ride, however you must surpass 85 lbs. to be sure that you safely fit in our harnesses. 

Please follow all safety guidelines and instructions set by the on site instructor. There are many factors such as other riders, weather, wind speed, etc. that are unfamiliar to you. It is imperative to us that we keep you safe for the entire duration of the lesson. 

Any incompliance of the rules set out by the instructor will result in the lesson to be concluded without refund. 

Rental Policy

All rental bookings are deemed final at the time of purchase. If you are unable to make your rental, we will reschedule your booking to a different time and date free of charge. 

If you overbooked your equipment on your rental, please let us know within 48 hours of the time your rental booking begins. In some instances we are able to refund you for your booking, but in others we may have turned away other customers in order to hold your rental. 

Customers are responsible for any damage made to the rental item. If you have questions or concerns during your rental about possible damages, please call us as soon as possible.

Sealand Sports does offer delivery for any of your rental exceeding the value of $100. We charge a flat fee of $50 for both delivery and pickup. Please arrange your delivery with a member of our staff more than 48 hours in advance so we can place you on the delivery schedule. 

Credit/debit cards are the only form of payment that we accept for rental purchases. All rentals will have a card hold placed on the form of payment used. All card holds will be released upon the return of all rental products and inspection that there were no damages to the items.
